Solar Space Heater

The SolarSheat 1500G is a glazed recirculation solar air collector for space heating. Air is drawn from the room through the bottom of the collector and, by means of a solar-powered fan, blown out through a duct in the top. No electricity is needed as the unit is self-powered.

The unit functions only on sunny days (works great in the winter), is intended as a backup to your heating system and works best when it feeds into open areas. While installing many units may heat your entire house, there are better options for whole-house heating. Roof mounting is possible in cases where there is no viable south-facing wall.
